So Ill be getting another tank, kinda want to do something cool. Like borderline reef-ish with alot of gorgs. Gonna have a frogfish of some type, maybe get some Caribbean type animals... i dont know.

As for equipment i have a reefbreeder led and the zetlight coming, ill probably run a ATS system underneath and I'll use a couple big Sicce PH's i have from when I set up my last 125.

Would love to hear input and see some images. For SURE i will be getting dry rock and putting together some amazing scape island style.

I think member DBOSHIBBY has a sweet scape. I like minimalist scapes and bonsai.

Frog fish seem to like to perch so it would be cool if it has perching spots but not a wall of LR, the fish would really stick out then.

So you plan on feeding this tank a lot if you're going Gorgonian right? Why not go with some Anthias and some Dendrophyllia. If the flow was right and you stayed away from aggressive fish you could do Gorgonians and Pipe Fish.

I saw a tank recently where the guy poured his own bonsai structures. Another option may be flat cut pieces if you have the saw or resources.

Are you thinking predator tank, busy fish tank or slow tank?

I'm not looking at NPS gorgs right now because im lazy and that would bode poorley for them. pipefish are kinda like seahorses and sound tough to keep. Am I wrong in that? I do agree that my next scape will have a lot of negative space.

Yeah Pipe fish are hard not as hard as sea horses but not for the mellow reefer.

    What is your dream fish?

I love frog fish, they come in such a great array of colors, not sure if they maintain that coloration on your average foods, actually not sure what they eat long term.

Anthias really like and need to be feed frequently so again not for the mellow reefer.

If I had a 125 gallon tank and it was not going to be sps it would have a huge Acan garden, and island of colorful zoanthid, a dendro garden and some chalice. For fish I would get some of those Black Oynx clowns actually I might get like five clowns, maybe isolate a big BTA on an island, a Pink Spotted goby, a Coral Beauty or Potters and yes some Wrasses.

All of my acans and chalice died one day for no good reason. (maybe low alk) I am almost thinking with alot of swim room a tiny school of Atlantic tangs, the frogfish, and a bunch of photosynthetic gorgs and other softies. Maybe make is a Caribbean biotope tank. I could always try for some Elkhorn coral and maze brains in the future.

I like acans though. I saw a great acan infested 5.5gallon pico on another forum that was 6+ years old.
