    As far as the rainbow monti goes I don't know what's going on. I see a tiny bit of skeleton, looks like something knocked it. Some polyps are still extended, some aren't. Maybe it's just still acclimating. We shall see. I'm going to leave it in there and monitor to see if it's a loss or just doing it's thing.



    YWG is out and about more which is awesome. The pistol shrimp is still living in the flipping rocks?!?! Get in the sand you turd!

    I have about 20 tiny pistol shrimp (the biggest are an inch and a half long, and this is after 4 months of them being in there), and they all live in the rocks; not a single one lives in the sand, but some walk around on it at night, in the cave areas of the tank.

    Maybe the goby will perch in the rock with the shrimp then.

    That's what my goby did for a while. Mine is a high fin red banded goby.

    Just an update:

    Tank is great.

    YWG and pistol still haven't paired but both are doing very well. YWG even looks as though he's gained a little girth....he's a string bean!
