I see these clear, very small flatworms on my sumps glass, that is pretty much the only place I can see them. Any one know what the best way to eradicate them is? I heard good things about flatworm exit.

Had them in my sump only a few months ago. 3 doses of flatworm exit and havent seen any in about 3 months. First time i thought I had them all killed. Second time I dosed 2 doses back to back a few days apart.

I dosed 4x the amount that you are supposed to. then did a 50% water change. haven't seen any since. It was insanity... Make sure you read the directions very closely because the flatworms contain a toxin that binds the oxygen so the fish/corals/inverts can't breathe. I'd dose, wait 24 hours, do a water change, wait 24 hours dose, wait another 24 hours, do another water change and see where it goes from there. Better safe than sorry. Just keep an eye on your tank. I'd do it over a span where you can stay home from work so you can keep an eye on your tank so that a water change can happen if something does happen. Also, Make sure you run carbon through your system, this helps remove the toxins from the FWs.

So dose it four times infour days, than do a 50% water change? and will an airstone replace the loss of oxygen?

    You can see here:
Melevsreef.com - Flatworms | How to eliminate them!

There are a number of species of flatworms. Some, can go away on their own. This has been my experience with acoel flatworms. Less likely with others such as "red planaria". If you dose flatworm exit, read the directions carefully, many people have nuked their tanks with the stuff, but if you are going to do it, better sooner than latter.

IMO if you can only see three i would not add anything. They will go away once their food is gone. If you have corals and they are present FW dip works fine. Only use flat worm exit if the population is getting extensive.
There are some nice wrasses that will help keep populations low or wipe them out.
