Fuzzy looking thing in a hole in live rock

    there this ball lookign thing wiht a bunch of fuzzy cloud stuff around it. its nothing dead, all my fish are accountant for. i have 2 clowns that like each other do you thingk they mated or something? I have a coral i think its a nuclear paly and i feed it mysis shrimp do you think it threw it all up? the ball is bpretty big prolly around 3/4 of an inch in a cave in the live rock. can anyone help thanks!

    haha. i think it is probably a sponge... but a picture would really help

    its so far back the camera gcant get a good pic how would a sponge get it there overnight? its white its that helps

    probably a pineapple sponge... and they grow quite fast in new tanks

    ahhh yes, that probably is what it is. didn't think of the pineapple sponge.

    look at some pictures it does look like a pineapple sponge. is that a bad thing?

    harmless filter feeder. i wouldnt worry about it.
