fuzzy lionfish

    could a 3in dwarf fuzzy lionfish eat a full grown peppermint shrimp? i cant find my shrimp.

    Sorry to say, but yes... they can and they will. If you're lucky, the shrimp is just hiding because he knows that.

    again, he will eat your shrimp for sure but I hope for you he didn't. If he did, at least it was a mint and not something more $

    I would feed him 3-4 times a week, hopefully you can get him on to frozen / prepared foods. If not you'll be feeding him live foods probably 3 times a week, maybe more.

    ** do NOT feed him goldfish! ** some LFS's will say to do this

    Yes it can probably eat the peppermint shrimp.

    I feed mine ghost shrimp, just because it's the most accessable. I have a seperate tank just for ghost shrimp. I catch about two or three every couple of days. Then I soak a couple fomula one pellets in selcon. I drop the pellets into the little tupperware bowl and let the ghost shrimp eat those. After that they go into the tank to feed the fuzzy dwarf

    im feeding him minnows at least thats what they are telling me. they look like a live breeder fish.

    That's ok, just try to get some enrichment into them before feeding. Or switch up between ghost shrimp like clarky said and the feeders.
