I was just curious as to how venomous dwarf lionfish are for humans? I read its like a bee sting, which is harmless to most humans unless they are allergic, so is it pretty much depending on how your body will react to it?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yep that is pretty much it.

If you have allergies to foods, like fish, or any other food allergies and an allergy to bees you may experience a more severe reaction. If you have bad allergies you probably also have an Epi-pen.

Personally I have yet to hear of an individual having a severe reaction to the sting of any lion fish, but caution is always prudent.

Soaking the area in water as hot as you can stand is recommended, but as with most medical or related issues, seek immediate medical help for

    Shortness of breath
    Chest pain
    Profuse sweating
    Confusion
    Intolerable pain.

Would not hurt to use the appropriate gloves when working around the fish either.

I think that's correct, but have no experience with their stings. I have a fuzzy and was wondering this as well though.
