Funny Goby Feeding

Hi Guys,

I just got a diamond goby about a little over a week ago and was really concerned about it starving to death. I did my research before I bought it and that was a common issue with this fish. Some say that it will eat with others and some say that they can't get it to eat. I bought on of those Kent squirt feeders and started using it a few days ago. My goby still will not come up and feed with the others. He will go after something on his level (if he sees it). I started target feeding him and he now sits at the end of the feeder and waits for his food. It is funny to see the goby sucking his food out of the feeder like a little baby. I may try and catch a picture or video because it is pretty hilarious. So, anyone having trouble getting their goby to eat you may want to try on of those squirt feeders. Thanks!!!

Cute! My clownfish does the same thing. He was tank raised and is very young, so he has always eaten from a squirt feeder. It is so cute when he comes up to the end of the feeder and waits for his food. My damsel is starting to copy him. Fun! Glad you got your goby eating!
