hey i dont have much room in my sump for a skimmer and a fuge so which one do you think would be more benificial for my reef? also would a tiny fuge make a diferance or is it now worth it? (prob 4x16x10")

Skimmer definetly... It will get the organics out and a fuge will just break down nitrites and nitrates!

A tiny fuge is better than no fuge.

What are the details of your system. How many gallons? I tend to lean toward a skimmer as well, just depends on the size. To tell the truth, in a smaller FOWLR, I would prefer a fuge over a skimmer. But if there are any corals at all, I would do the opposite without thinking twice......

I'd take a good skimmer over a fuge any day. If the dissolved solids are removed before they entire the nitrogen cycle there isn't a need for macro algae that removes nitrites and nitrates.

    Skimmer first, with "remote" fuge.

i have a remora that i wasnt sure would be good for the system (40 breeder), should i upgrade to a swc 120? what would be the best skimmer for that setup? also it will be a reef, soft, lps, and some sps
