Hey, if you won't give us information, we can't help. It's really that simple. We need numbers, not "It's ok". We need a picture sometimes, not a description.

I'm more than willing to give all the help you need, if you're willing to bring numbers, pictures, and be cooperative. You're currently saying you're going to throw in the towel because of two corals going downhill, when you aren't willing to give the information that we need to give you good advice.

+1 you don't just go to dentist and tell him your teeth hurts and expect to be well. You need to show him what the problem is, same with here, we have to see the picture and all your water param

Please forgive me for my outburst yesterday. I guess I just get disappointed when things don't go as I'd like. I am sure all of us have had successes & failures. In the end, you can only do your best.

Saying I am going to throw in the towel couldn't be further from the truth. I am determined to have a beautiful tank like some I have seen in pictures.

I have a 10 gallon Nano & realize, the smaller the tank, the more difficult it is to maintain perameters.

To all intents & purposes a person looking @ my tank would be very impressed. The water is crystal clear. I have a large beautiful sea anenome, a clown fish, 2 crabs & a button coral that is spreading rapidly. I guess I tend to think more about the negative things. Another good thing is 2 branches of my frogspawn definitely have small bubbles forming. Perhaps the liquid reef is helping.

I'll give you as much information about my tank as I am able & that is not much. I don't even know if some of the numbers I am giving are good or bad. I have alot to learn.

Let's go. If I am doing this right, my alk is 2meg/L.

    My PH is 8.1

I ran out of testing solution for calcium. I started with a level around 300. I know that was too low. When I last tested ( a week ago ) I was close to 400. I see that the liquid reef contains calcium. That might be a good thing.

Those are all the numbers I am able to give you. Not much, eh ? I don't understand my new testing kit. For PO4, for example, it says on the bottle ( All= 1mg/L ) That means nothing to me. There were color charts for ammonia, nitrates & nitrites. They are all 0.mg .

I have , following your suggestion, lowered the temperature to 78F.

My lights are new. On one it says Coralife Antic 18W. The little bit I can see on the other light is 29 over 60 . I run my lights about 10 hours a day.

I do appreciate what help you can give me with the little bit of information I have passed on.

Again, I apologize for my outburst. You didn`t deserve that. You were only trying to help.
