Well, after a nice little trip to the LFS...I have returned valiantly with a very pretty frogspawn

Right now it's hanging in the tank with the bag, and i noticed little white strands in the bag along with the frogspawn. I've read that corals will release their zooxanthellae (which happen to look like white strands) when they're stressed...and usually means a bad thing.

Is it a bad thing? Is the fate of my frogspawn doomed?

    thanks!

Man, anytime you touch the frog it will close a little and release that crap. Thats why they sting hard and most things wont eat them. I am looking at putting mine in my 265 cause most fish wont touch them.

You wont have any problems, just make sure if you get it on your hands you clean it off before you touch any other coral or you will carry the crap and sting your corals for him.
