    Not true in the slightest. If ich is on the fish during a freshwater dip, it will make it in to the tank with the fish just as it normally would. If ich is in the water, it will most likely be killed by the freshwater dip, with a small chance of it finding the fish first.

    If the fish doesn't have ich, and it's not in the water, it won't spontaneously appear on the fish. Spontaneous generation isn't a legitimate theory; if it's extinct in the water, it doesn't reappear because you're there to see it.
