I was told to dip the infected coral in a bowl of fresh water( not tap but ro ) for about 10 seconds. Boy did they fall off( like a bad habit ) they all fell off. Has any1 tried this before?

I have freshwater dipped most of my corals before adding them to the tank to make sure most hitchikers are eradicated.

Yes as Nemo79 mentioned this is a common practise called a fresh water dip. Good for riding many parasites from both corals and fish.

Glad it worked for your flat worms but watch out flat worm can live in your rock and sand.

Don't ask me about the science behind it but when you freshwater dip a flatworm, they pretty much can't stop absorbing the fresh water so they end up exploding :)
