Can you put more water in the cup so it's kinda floating & easier to tell the features on it, or did you already trash it?

    hmm very strange.

Remind me again how old is the tank? Did it just cycle?

The images could be so many types of worms. Why they would die I have no clue. A predator would have eaten them.

    Interesting.

The tank is around 3-4 years old, I just had to down size it when my father in law gave it to me, but I found out from a friend that has a coral propagation green house and he said it is a flat worm of some sort. Could that be it?

So many different type of flatworms. It does not look like any flatworms I have seen. My experience with flatworms is that they not no appendages like bristles, spines, growth like protrusions and that image looks like they do ( might just be me). I will have a look around in my books and a couple good sites I know of, now that you have cleverly peaked my interest. ::)
