food Stuck in clownfish mouth

    I just fed my clownfish, and my clownfish tried to swallow a large piece of the squid/octopus and it is now stuck in his mouth. He seems to be trying to swallow it still but it is too large of a piece. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Should I pull him out and try to remove it? Or should I just let him figure it out. Thanks!

    Never mind, he seems to have swallowed it. He had me worried. I'll post a video so you can see what I was talking about. Thanks for anyone who took the time to read my problem.

    You're not the only aquarist unfamiliar with the clownfish heimlich maneuver. :) Rarely done, but when it's needed--oh boy is it ever. . . .:hehe:

    Sorry, that was the first video I posted. Thanks for fixing it reefsparky. I think I get it you just hit the YouTube button and then paste the link in the message. I guess you learn something new everyday, in this case 2 things. I didn't know clownfish could hiemlich themselves lol.;D
