Has anyone had experience with these? My heater took a dump and I need to pick up a replacement. I noticed these at my LFS and it looks well made with a built in LED display showing temp of tank. Although, not sure how convenient with it in my sump or if I will be able to read it. Feedback? Thx!

Not used that particular model Nitty Gritty

Have used Fluval heaters ( and filters etc) and have in general been very pleased with the quality and durability of items from this company

I do not tend to pay much attention to what the heater display tells me, preffering to use a thermometer (at present digital with probe) on my DT I have it placed on the side of my tank, and glance at it periodically when feeding or doing other things on my reef

Well I picked it up. It has a built in digital thermometer and a color change alert system. Seems legit except no light showing that it is heating. Just got it in today so time will tell I suppose :)
