I recently got a tomato clown and he decided he wanted to make my Flower pot coral his home. My question is will this affect my flower pot any as every time he goes in it the flower pot closes up some? With the flower pot not being all the way open all the time was just concerned for its health, or will the flower pot get used to the clown being in it eventually and not close up? Any advice would be good Ive heard flower pots can be hard to keep have had mine for four months and it is doing awsome and its one of my favorite corals so dont want it to be affected by the clown. Thanks in advance for the replys.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. The answer to your question is maybe. Some corals can deal with clown nudging and some can't. Unfortunately, all you can do is wait and watch.

My clown got to playing in my flowerpot and would not stay out of it. I even went out and bought a bta for it because i could tell he was bothering it way too much. The clown went to the bta right away but would go back and forth between the two. It was a matter of time and it wouldn't open hardly at all. Only lasted about 2 months after that. Was about 1 1/2 years in my tank. Good luck
