Flow rate ?

    So I just bought a BRS reactor and I am running carbon right now, had it on hand and will switch to GFO later, what kind of flow rate should I run through it? 40B tank and currently running about 200 gph.

    I think 200 is a little fast, maybe throttle it to half. With GFO you just make it gently tumble.

    Recommended flow for GAC is 90 - 100gph for optimum contact time. It can't fully purify the water if the flow is too high.
