    Im going with 2 mp40s on my set up....there's a local reefer with an 8 ft 225 gallon tank with and mp40 and a wavebox. And his sps are doing awesome

    Budget is relatively non-issue. I set my pricepoint very high on this setup. But if it's not needed, that's a different story.

    Yeah I just visited my LFS owner's house to see his 320 gallon. He's using one mp60w ES and a couple small wavemakers and the returns, and it's amazing.

    The only reason I am hesitating on the two MP40s, is one side of the tank is clearly visible from the kitchen and I hate to block the view. But, health of the system is more important.

    How important is the opposing flow?

    I ended up going with two MP 60s, my LFS gave me a killer deal on them so it was only like 100 more each than the 40s... I should be up and running soon. Can't wait to post pics!

    Yeah, I seriously doubt I will even be able to run them at full. Probably start them at half and work from there.
