    Yea I was just not going to run it at all.. but I the guy at the LFS said I could. I'll keep it low then until I get a bigger bioload. Its building up foam and everything but its not really pulling stuff out, which I didn't expect but yea I just can't get it right

    yeah just let it chill..and dont touch it for a few days, it will pull a little out..but it just needs to build some protein up in it to produce that foam..

    anytime u change the skimmer one little bit, then that usually throws it off completely and it kinda has to restart its process..

    How often and how much do you top off your tank?

    about a half gallon a day.. it really just depends on the weather.. but at least a half gallon..
