Anyone have a flaming prawn goby. I have been contemplating getting one for my nano. What are their personalities like? I have heard that you can pair them with a shrimp but I think it could be risky with their size being so small. Any thoughts on these little guys?

none yet but the eel is new. ill keep you updated as the months go by. theyd be great 6 gallon fish. I'm thinking of setting up a 6 gallon at work and putting a couple of these guys in with some coral and live rock and calling it a day.

Sounds like not much is involved in keeping these little guys happy :) I have a mature (7 month old) pico on my desktop here at work, and would love to add one of these little guys in as my only fish. They would be the only mobile invert in there besides 3 sexy shrimp. Are there any specific requirements to note? I hear the will eat the mini sized higher end pellets like salfert/spectrum, as well as pick at smaller stuff from the sandbed. I'm just hoping there not like the madarins (ie: mostly pods only).

Spartan, what has your experience with them been in regards to the above.
Anyone else with experience is welcome to advise as well.

    many thanks guys,

I know its been a year but...

So what are people feeding these guys...
Do they take crushed pellets/common foods, or are they picky?

Inquiring minds want to know ;)
