Flame angel and clams

I think you should be fine, initially I think they nip cause they're curious but if well fed I doubt they'll view it as a source of food. Mine nips at anything new I put in, but never does any real damage & always forgets after a few days.

The plan is to put him in the DT when he is nice and fat. i figure if he knows he doesn't have to work for food he will be fine.

 

I don't have a flame, but I have a dwarf angel and he is really good. I've never seen him nip at anything. Even when my clam was dying, he didn't pick at it. But my tang and wrasses did.

I keep him nice and fat and he is happy
