Flame Angel 27.99 should i try/risk it.

i havent seen a Flame Angel under 40 bucks where i live, awesome price beautiful fish.

id get it.

 

im really curious about this as well, i would like to have a pygmy as a "center piece" type fish in my 55 gallon, but also would like to keep some softies, and clams. i always see the warning, "may nip at soft corals and clam mantels"

 

Ide snag it. thats a good price. I have a Coral Beauty in my tank and hes excellent. Nips at my toad stool every now and again, but i can live with that. I put 2 in there just for that purpose, so they would leave everything else alone!

I would snag it...very cool looking fish IMO! Will bring a lot of color to the tank. Just be sure you feed it very well and it will lessen the risk of picking on coral. Make sure you feed good quality food

 

Like everyone said...most of the time they are ok. But every one is different. My Coral Beauty has been a model citizen. I added a Masked Rabbit, and I do not own Blue Mushrooms any more LOL. Just have to try it, and hope for the best. If he does nip, it does not mean he will always nip. My Rabbit only did the first few days until he learned the chow schedule!!

 

Weird, I did a google search and I found 2 places immediately that are selling for cheap.

They are all over around here, and don't go for more than $45 on a bad day. Never realized they were uncommon, they were readily available in Tampa as well.

Beautiful fish, I would just be leery of having one in my tank. I had a coral beauty that ate my zoanthids, he died after a month or so in my tank.
