    Hey everybody -

My display tank is a 25 gallons, with a 20 gallon fuge & AquaC Urchin skimmer. It currently houses my two clowns, whom I am going to put in a breeder tank and, god willing, let them to procreate. The question is...what do I replace them with? The only other inhabitant of the DT will be a yellow watchman goby and a pistol shrimp, along with assorted corals. I was toying around with the idea of getting a sixline wrasse, but I'm not too sure if a 25gal will be too small. A mandarin is another fish I was considering, as I have a copious amount of pods...but again, is a 25 gal too small?

Any other suggestions of good nano fish?

Purple firefish are amazing fish IMO. Or you could go with a cardinal fish.

Harptail blenny is a really cool fish. I also really like Gold Neon Eviota Gobies, and they can be kept in small groups if introduced together. Normal neon gobies and gold neon gobies are cool too. Let us know what you decide!

IMO I thing that a Mandarin would starve in a 25 gallon. He would consume the pods in a few months and they wouldn't have time to reproduce unless you kept a good supply coming from reefcleaners. I like firefish gobies, lawnmower blennies, the watchman/pistol pair is great. You could also get a clown goby and neon goby. Several options really.
