    i have a 29 gal with with a royal gramma and was wondering if a yasha goby & pistol shrimp would be ok in here togethr???

    pistol shrimp for what i see are prity fricken deadly. did u now thos things can stun fish? they acshually pull there claw back liek a gun and then relaease it at liek super sonic speeds makeing bubbles shoot out and acshuaklly are as hot as the sun 4 liek less then a sec and it stuns its pray nocks it totally out liek in shock id say no man lol thos fish are pritty darn small and the royal gammas liek to hide in holes he might try to kill it over territory idk :) what do u think

    allso seems like the pistol shrimp is a prediter idk man wait 4 more ppl im a noob all i did was go tipe in all the fish u named and the royal gamma and goby are peacefull fish pistol is aggresive y not get a cleaner shrimp there neat lil guys :p

    Some pistol shrimp can actually break the glass, i have a mantis shrimp in my tank(hitchiker) and damn is he lightning quick, one of the ultimate sea predators...

    They should be ok as long as the gramma isn't too territorial. I've never heard of pistols breaking glass or killing fish. They are known to kill and eat cleaner shrimp so keep that in mind.

    There is a video on youtube showing you how they shoot air from their claws.. Pretty neat.. poor little cleaner shrimp... he had no idea what happened.
