So I have a ten gallon reef tank (pics in the sig minus a few new additions that I have to put in there) and I was thinking of putting a small fish in there, or two if able. I was thinking maybe a firefish, but I would like to hear other opinions. I was thinking of a goby at first but I don't have alot of sand for it to rummage around on because I have alot of rock work going on.

firefish are great. Yellow clown goby, neon goby, or lawnmower blenny. All good choices. I would limit it to two though.

yea I was only going to do one but I thought it might get lonely haha, i had a clown goby before but it never ate and I tried alot of different foods. Is there a way to differentiate between a male and female firefish?

after research i see thats its hard to tell the difference between male/female, I might just go with one unless someone names another small type fish thats reef safe

I agree on the neon goby, I have two in my 120, and they already made a tunnel under the rock work... :p However dont get your hand to close or they bite LOL.

Very amusing fish though I have to add. always running around and its fun to watch them clean the fish :).
