First tank piccies.

Nassarius snails are some of the most entertaining things... when you feed, they come out of the sand where they've buried themselves and start racing around like crazy. They climb up our back wall and then slide down like they're doing it for fun. Crazy little buggers.

Hi again,

Clean up crew in and doing a great job!

Got 5 turbo's, 5 Hermits and 5 nassarias. 3 of the nass snails have already been devoured by the hermits despite feeding.

New lighting added. 3x10k white and 3x actinic blue t5 + 4 blue leds for night time viewing.

All seems to be going well, diatoms being eaten, small amount of hair algae going away.

All params are within tolerance except KH which I have been trying to raise to 9 from 7 but have found it hard administering the buffer.

LFS is still testing all params twicw weekly and I am monitoring the KH every day, struggling to get it up though, thoughts on that?
