    No prob, leathers are really resilient. I cut mine in half and the new piece looked absolutely like death & it sprung to life fairly quickly & is now bigger than the piece it was cut from. Leathers also go through phases where they "slough" and shed their skin as they grow, not 100% sure Sinularia do it but I have had mine wither a bit but come back stronger afterwards. I wouldn't worry much.
