So having had my tank set up for 2 months with live rock and getting back from a 3 week vacation, I have finally started inhabiting my tank and am very excited. :party014:

    Here are some pics.

Now I just hope everything does well and thrives.

Thanks for the feedback. I am certainly trying to take it slow. I want to gradually increase the difficulty level of corals as I become more comfortable. To be honest, I wouldn't have bought the leather yesterday, but my wife wanted it. ;)

Also, I want to upgrade my sump and skimmer. I am planning to build out a 30g sump with refugium, in the near future.

    Thanks again for the feedback.

Looking good so far. A diamond goby would work on the sand and eat any algae.

Really like your rockscape, nice job! The Sinularia Leather will do well under most any type of lighting, leathers are a good starter coral. I began with a little cabbage leather and it's done great through all my light ugrades & grows like a beast. You can cut Sinularia in half w/ a clean razor & rubberband it to pieces of rock & it will do well. I had to start getting rid of some of my pieces as it grew so quickly.

Thanks Marlinman, an algae fighter was something I actually looking into now.

I also need to start adding some snails and critters to assist.

Thanks Seano. I can't remember the name of the rock, my LFS had it. I will probably stop by there in the next few days, if I can get the name from them I will let you know.

Thanks for the tip MoJoe. This is the one piece I am keeping a close eye on. The branches seems to change a lot since putting it in the tank. One little branch doesn't look great, but I am just hoping that it is happening because it's new.
