First flood!

    Clean up crew were added today and I thought it would be a good time to clean my skimmer.

    It is a V2300 which is an over the top of the tank model .

    Cleaned it and popped it back in....

    Primed it and waited.... Water level rose and I adjusted the flow to set the level. It DIDNT stop!

    Water everywhere!

    Lost about 15 litres to the carpet.

    There was a small piece of gravel in the air valve...

    Lesson learnt.

    Hermits look very happy though!

    2 more and you will be an official reef member! (at least that was what I was told when I had my 3rd major flood)

    sorry to hear that. Make sure you get is soaked up as much as possible and steam clean that area to keep from smelling
