finally ordered my first RO/DI unit

Diatom is supposed to fade away by itself? How long have you had it? Mine lasted like.. 3 weeks, I think.

 

Thats the same unit i have. I hooked mine up to the washing machine and used a T-fitting for a garden hose with shutoff valves so i can turn it off. Hooks right into the water line in the back. Perfect setup waste water runs into the washer too.

 

Thanks and yeah i bought that MP40 when i shoulda bought a RO/DI lol My Diatom issue it has been almost a month now but I think part of it is because my MP40 and my other 1400gph hydor that i recently put in there. Its getting better it used to cover the sand bed on one side of my tank but its getting lighter, still looks like stuff waving in the current on the bottom of my tank a few days after i stir the sand bed up.

Nice that is why i was asking about the wash tub cause it has lines on it and i can store the water in there also.
