After getting tired of lugging water back and forth and having a move across town coming up I figure its time to buy a RO/DI unit. I got the BRS 75gpd unit so im hoping it will do well. Any tips on hooking it up and do most people use there kitchen sink or washtub for them?

mine is connected to my kitchen sink and the waste line goes into the sink drain.

It's pretty straightforward to connect. I would advise not using the faucet adapters as they are not totally reliable and will render your sink useless. I would get the adapters so that you can hook it up under your sink or either way tap it into the permanent line.

Drill your inlets and outlets kind of around the side and or up high where they wont be noticed, then when time comes just cap the hole with some good ole JB weld or similiar 2 part epoxy. or at least thats the route i'm going since I am in the same rental boat.

I too rent. If I decide to leave, I will remove my tubing. Close the valves and leave it go. At least that's my plan now.
