So i am in the process turning my puffers 20 tall, brackish to FOWLR. I currently have a little 10 gall hob filter running on the tank, i don't have live rock yet but i plan to get maybe 10-20 pounds of base. I also have a seacolne 100 skimmer but it doesn't skimm so i just want to take it off and run skimmless.

Would this little 10gall hob be enough to filter the tank, or what else should i use?

Not sure a 10g HOB would be enough, we ran an Eheim 2234 canister on our 16 gallon and it was great. You could mroe then likely get by with an Aquaclear HOB that is rated for your tank size.
