Ok, so I'm thinking about starting a 10g nano tank real soon. put in the sand, the base rocks, maybe one piece of live rock and let the baby cycle!

I'm wondering if I have enough flow? Or if i'll need a Hydor Nano? I would be running a LARGE HOB filter. The filter alone adds another gallon to the system. Eventually I might stick a Biocube skimmer in the HOB filter because I'm sure it would fit in it.

For stocking I would like to have 1 or 2 fish (Yellow Watchman Goby) or (pair of clowns if I could), a few snails, and some easy to care for low light corals. I figure after it cycles, a 2.5-3 gallon a week water change will keep everything in check. What do you think?

Anyways tell me what you guys think. What I should do differently or any other tips thanks!

Watch the video in full to see the flow of the tank as I move around. I stuck a fake plant in so you could see the sway and tell me what you guys think as far as water movement (it was taken with my cell phone so excuse the quality)

Ok Sweet! I figured out the embedding tool!!! :)

the nano isn't very strong(I have one), I would add another powerhead besides it even with the hob filter.

So you would suggest two powerheads? On top of the HOB? In a 10?

Just seems like that would be ALOT of flow..

The reasoning behind the second powerhead is probably that two powerheads allows for surface and bottom flow, while allowing for random current patterns due to collision between the flow created by each. It's also not too much if you're going SPS.

I think the water change is on the low end; a bit more would be helpful.

What do you guys think about what I said for stocking possibilities?

You think I should do bigger weekly water changes? Like 4-5 gallons?

    Any tips would be nice
