Very nice looking rock. Very porous. Hardware is not bad either. :)

Once I get my last package in I'll start a thread for the tank. Decided to mock it up and get the light hung. I tried something new for this stand, I didn't want to build one out of wood. So I got a black sheet and hung it over the metal stand, didn't turn out too bad imo. Here is one with the light on and then the light off.

Just curious how you plan to maintain the tank with a sheet on it? When water spills on it, and water will spill on it, how do you plan to keep it clean?

I thought about that but haven't really figured anything out lol. Just kinda winging it. Thought about getting a piece of glass cut to size of the stand and laying it between the tank and stand. But glass to glass kinda scares me, maybe put something between thw two pieces of glass. Idk

You can put black wood on top of the stand. Then use Velcro and cut the black cloth sheet so that it is just a skirt around the sides of the stand. Since it will be attacked with Velcro you can take the entire think off for easy maintenance and you can wash it in the washing machine when it gets dirty.
