We had an anemone that bleached and got really small and sucked himself into the rocks. Our female sebae wouldn't leave the area where she knew the anemone was. She didn't eat for two or three days. We got another anemone and put it in the tank. That was Sunday (four days ago). We still haven't seen her eat anything and it has been a week. It goes right past her face. We have tried giving all kinds of special foods to try and get her to eat. She will not leave the new anemone. The male and all other fish are fine.

Whats going on? How long can she live without food? How is she still alive? I would think a week with no food would start to really affect her.

    Any suggestions?

Our sebaes are a breeding pair... we'd really rather not lose her!

Have you tried foods that are enriched with garlic or soaked in garlic extract?

We used to feed some flake food with garlic. She wanted nothing to do with it. She likes her shrimp. Well, she used to.
