I received a call from my mom today saying that my tank is in the verge of crashing.
My two shrimps are dead and she says she can only see my male clown swimming in one place and my female, for what she described is dead.
She can't see any other fish. ( diamond goby and firefish)..

Aparently the corals were not fully open either. I'm feeling really bad because my mom is just going to let things die. She doesn't know what to do.. I can't go back home either....

My pride and joy is dying as we speak.

She said fish were ok last night when she fed them.
She also said filter was turned off this morning, and that she did a top off last night. ( we always use the same water so I doubt that's the problem)...

I don't know what to do.. I feel powerless.

Temp? Water change? She can't do a thing?

That sucks elweshomayor. My tank is why I hate going anywhere for more than 2 days. Hopefully you can get her to do a water change today.

well you've gotta get home first, then make an assessment.

Maybe your mom's perception is worse than reality.

If you go home and she is right, then you can start to be concerned.

If you are away from home and can't do anything about it - then you cant do anything about it.

I VERY strongly hope, however, that all turns out well!!

This has got to be nerve-racking!!!

Thanks.. I'm about to call my lfs. Maybe someone can go and check. Other than that there is nothing I can do. Mom doesn't know how to do water changes since she doesn't know how to use hydrometer.
( I tries explaining her but she doesn't want to mess thing even more)

Gosh those clowns were 8 months with me. I was just waiting one day to go and see them laying eggs.
    Thanks for the support people.

I can't go back home as I am in college and don't have a means of going back other than the bus ( it's 3hrs away) but mom said not to go back.. I spend 200dollars on going back and forward. So in other words there is nothing I can do otter than calling my lfs and hope they can go check, and maybe do a water change.

I'd be more than glad to leave my office here in Jersey if someone has a private helicopter or jet . . . the Essex County Airport is close by . . . .and if you have that G5 - the runway is long enough! :p
