feeding daily VS every other day

I feed my fish specifically 2x a week. I feed my coral 2x a week (and when the coral eats, the fish get some.

Otherwise they live off the rock. And that's just useful at keeping the tank clean, eh? I've been doing this for over a year and all fish have fat bellies.

I don't see any fish in your list you need to feed more often that 2-3x per week.

Unless (and I doubt it) you're feeding your mandarin... but that's probably not the case.

I wouldn't feed the fish in your list more than 3x a week, personally. But when you do feed, (especially if it's less often than current), I recommend something more nutritious than flakes or pellets.

 

Wow, not what I expected !
I feed at least once a day somtimes twice just small amounts and I have never used flake food.

Thanks everybody for all the great feedback. I am going back to feeding every other day. That seems to be the concensus and my tank looked better in the past when I did it.
