Wow, a few bands on here I hadn't heard of and I thought i was pretty well versed. Right now I have been listening to the Black Keys, Florence and The Machine and always Death Cab for Cutie. Les Savy Fav, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand are all good too.

new and up and coming. Gotye, not because of his "somebody that I used to know" song, but the rest of his work, I find is truly inspiring, if you watch his documentaries on youtube, and the way he composes and makes his music happen, is a truly brilliant thing rarely seen today

My musical favs change from year to year...album to album. Right now, I'm listening to As Blood Runs Black, The Human Abstract, As I Lay Dying, Unearth, All Shall Perish, Bloodbath, Despised Icon, Lamb Of God (first 3 albums and nothing else), Job For A Cowboy, The Classic Struggle, Vital Remains, and of course the "classics", Metallica (pre 1990), Megadeth, Pantera, Maiden, Ozzy, Death, Testament, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse, Anthrax, and Slayer! Right this second, I'm playing Elton John...go figure.

The Boston Philharmonic ;D Looks like I'm the odd one out here....;)

Beethoven, Bach, Wagner, Handel, Tchaikovsky, Strauss, Williams, etc... amazing how many popular songs use tunes from the old masters (ok williams isn't an old master ::)) !!
