    Hi Everyone,
I have had a pair of clowns and added a fairy wrasse in early August. On Saturday I added a Cardinal fish, watchman goby/pistol shrimp and a purple firetail. The fairy wrasse usually has not been that aggressive and maybe he is just claim his territory, however he has taken to running most of the fish including the clowns (does not go near Cardinal fish nor the goby). He in particular runs the firefish. I am just wondering if you think this behavior will settle down after a few days?
    Thanks!

My LFS suggested adding more then 1 saying that there maybe more of a chance of the new fish being isolated by itself. They have given me great advice and I have been a loyal customer. It sounded like ok advice to me. I have had trouble adding to the clowns. Before I new better I added a neon dotty and he was very aggressive to any fish I tried. Even fish 3 times his size.

IMHO, adding more fish at once will keep aggression down because there is not simply 1 new fish.

Now, what kind of fairy wrasse is it? usually fairy wrasses are a peaceful lot, but I know one guy that had a temecki fairy wrasse that was a constant bully.

The wrasse looks like he is afraid he will not get enough food. I ffed them once a day. If I increase the number of times I feed them do you think that may help?

Feeding more might help, but I have had a lubbock's before and it was a big one. No aggression issues with that, and it actually got bullied by an indigo dottyback that i still have.

I did just buy another lubbocks, and it as well as my new copperband B fly and another ocellaris are living in the sump until I get the maroon clown bully out of my tank. She needs to go in the sump until I either set up another tank for her, or sell her.
