    Acorpora austera?

I have seen some colonies of this species and love the growth pattern, just wondering what experiences you all might have with them? rate of growth, preferred height and light intensity, etc...

    heres my frag:

Nice frag, Dingo! Congrats! I thought at first it was a tricolor valida like mine, but the branching indicated otherwise. So, no help here! Just wanted to say congrats on the addition!

Good looking frag, can't help, don't really know all of the species that I have now. I just give them high light and flow.

yeah, I figure that always works well at first, then experiment with frags once it grows out so you know for the future...

My friend Sanjay has a deep green austera high up and directly under a 400w with an mp60 about a foot to its left and an mp40 coming at it from the back... His grows pretty fast so that just might be ideal for it?

Looks kind of like a Plana Earth or Crayola Plana.

I have both of those two. They are beautiful pieces, but very, very finicky. They lose color at the slightest change and are extremely slow growing. I do have them about 20" below my lights, in high flow.

I think I would mimic his position in that case.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It is a nice frag Dingo. Looks like it has a couple of different color tones. Interesting to see it under a different light.
