Awesome Shin! I have not seen my Acro's change to pastels, but my growth is exploding! I'll keep you posted with comparisons, but I wonder if the Zeolite media contributes to the pastels...and since I'm running EcoBak instead, I might not see pastels.

Thanks Cheryl! I had that ORA B&G acro for a while now, it never did that. Excited to see how it does from this point on.

The Green Nobilis acro is just sitting on a rack, bunched up.. ::)

Im getting brown filmish algae all over the place, which is understandable considering how new this system is. I have been cleaning all the glass walls, overflow box, and now the BOTTOM!

Thanks Andy! Awesome to you too, to hear that your acros are growing! I never had this pastel color even with the zeolite running for 100 days before the reset. The same amount of zeolite, same additive, same everything, except the whole new rocks and no sand.

I heard/read that the zeolite media is so efficient to remove nutrients, sometimes too much, stripping the water. Then, you add stuff you need later.

I need to start keep an eye on potassium, which is fundamental for ZEO tanks.

I dose K. I use Red Sea Colors A/B/C/D. I think the Potassium is B. I bought the test kit, and whenever I have a free hour, I test for it. My tank uses about 6ml weekly.

I bought the Pohl's K-Balance, but I have never dosed it yet. I hear great things about it tho.

It's looking very nice Shin; quite striking now that everything is finding a home.

Not too new, but Halichoeres need sand.

If that temminckii is pretty mild another Cirrhilabrus could be a possibility.

Duh, thats right.. The sand Im gonna add is rather course, dont know if its good enough for sand needing wrasses... And the Temmincki is not too mild to others and he's big too (4.5").
