Thanks Will! I think im gonna place that piece one of the highest spot..? Not really sure yet. Ive got months to think about it :)

Hey JB its been a while! Sorry to hear that you're having an algae problem.. Havent you beat them once before with Kent Tech M tho??

Ya, sometimes you have to take a drastic measure to get rid of something resilient.. I beat dino without resetting, but not this dictyotas..

The new rocks are wet. Dosing the ZEObak, SpongePower and Microbactor7. No ammonia source this time. Ill just let it sit for at least 1.5 month.

It all went away then came back. I am now keeping it higher for much longer, if this doesn't work i'm starting over.

Are you going to be cleaning out the sump as well??

That sucks, JB. You gonna keep anything you have right now, coral and fish wise? I liked your awesome staghorn..

And yes, i will clean the heck out of the sump too, but I will do the same with the display, so might as well... Besides I really dont have anything in the sump other than the skimmer and zeoreactor anyway, its not that big of a deal.

Side note: ever since I started to dose Pohl's Xtra Special every other day 3ml a month ago, everything started to color up even better and showing better result. The new rocks are being cured/cycled in a Rubbermaid.
