I really like the scape Shin, that will look real nice. Sorry to hear that your going to have to reset it. At least your going to do it the right way. It sounds like a good plan. Hope it all goes over smooth.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I like it Shin.

What other methods are you going to use to fit it. Is it limited the rock work.

Good luck Shin. I've had to do the same before due to an algae outbreak that I couldn't figure out a way to rid my tank of. I like the rock work! Looks nice! I wish I had taken shots from different angles of my scape that I epoxied together. I can't seem to capture the depth and crevices with a picture.

Side note...how's your ZeoVit going? Any noticeable changes?

Looking forward to seeing your results, sucks you still can't find a solution to your algae problem.

Sounds like you have a plan and it's personal ;)

Looking good Shin! Sounds like a good plan, just one question: does the dictyota only grow on rocks/sand, or will it be growing in your fuge/heaters/pumps/waterlines/etc? I'm not familiar with it, so I don't know...

    Thanks Cheryl

Other than replacing every single rock/substrate, thats about it. I will clean the tank, the sump, the zeo reactor, the pumps, skimmers in and out when the new rocks are ready.

I wont add sand right away most likely, and when i do, it will be minimal amount, only around the rocks, make it look like island shores if you know what i mean. And no egg crate.

Thanks Andy. As much as I wish i dont have to reset the system, I feel I dont have enough room for corals and/or they are not placed practically. (i.e.: less favorite coral is sitting on the best spot in my tank right now, right next to gorgeous monti cap and killing it etc)

I will try to shoot a short walkaround movie of the rocks later.

And the zeovit is great! Pastel/pale coloring hasnt happened yet, but I see some corals are getting rid of brownness from them. The growth is awesome too.

Look who's here! I feel neglected lol Thanks Chris. Heck ya its personal.

Hey Lucas! Good to see you on here :D The dictyotas only grow on rocks and sand (and frag disks, PITA). Nothing in the sump or anywhere else.

    --------------
Thanks for all the good lucks, I feel Im in good hands :)

Wow those are sweet! You did a really good job on those. Can't wait to see those in the tank covered with corals. Do you have a specific spot for your new dd coral?
