That is a nice colony! I have never ordered from them, but I tend to lean towards aquacultured acros only. And their aquacultured selection blows most of the time.

I agree, with the (positive) experience I had this time.

Thanks Chris! Aquacultured pieces are nice, but I wanted something bigger! and I love it! Its showing even more PEs now.

That's one nice piece Shin! Congrats on it's arrival. That's going to look real good when it gets to the display area. Beautiful beautiful piece.

Ok Ive mentioned in the past, but Im having a BAD dictyota outbreak. I dont know where i got it from, when etc, but I have it. I have had it for more than a year (easy) now. Ive tried to starve it, wouldnt go away. Went thru 3 seahares, the first one did an awesome job got rid of 95% of it, but this resilient sucker came right back when it died..

So! I have decided to reset it. Heres my plan.

    - order dry rocks from Marcorocks (done)
    - make funky aquascape (done)
    - cycle those rocks for at least 2 months in a separate rubbermaid (will start soon)
    - when the cycle is done, Ill salvage all the corals without contaminating, no rocks or sand will be re-used without being "sterilized"
    - will use ZEOvit additives including the ZEObak and the Sponge power, maybe ZEOStart3 too to cycle the rocks
    - place all the newly clean (important) cycled rocks in the display, the corals will be placed carefully

    Sounds like a plan??

Oh here are some funky rock work i came up with:
