And the green nobilis acro is showing better green, I think, and the wife concurs. lol Im still running half BP than before, I will start reducing them during the next water change.

The LED is being rebuilt, again. Received these below from RapidLED. Stellar customer service as usual!

Mike @ Rapid included the tester for me, which I happened to misplace, and Ive tested all just to make sure they're are no DOAs, and there was none of course. I will get started as soon as I receive 405nm LEDs from LEDGroupBuy.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Such a beautiful piece Shin.

Do you think there is a paling of coloration to the corals yet? Looking forward to the evolution of this zeovite process. No detectable phos or nitrates?

    Great PE Shin.

The Zeovit, did you start with the full dose but just run it in and off while reducing the amount of BP?
Are you running the Zeovit more in concurrence of reducing the BP?
Am I close. Just want to understand.

Thanks Cheryl! The color paling hasnt happened yet, I think the system had a little nutrient spike, since I saw more slime and slight brown algae on the glass than usual/before. I really hope it see it tho sooner than later, especially on the boring brown strawberry shortcake!

    Thanks Will!
I thought that on/off period was for starting period too, turned out, that its more productive to reduce nutrients from the system. Going on/off makes certain nitrifying bacteria (aerobic/anaerobic) more active. Some people with ZEOvit run their reactors constantly, but theyd change it to on/off cycle when they want to lower nutrients.

ZEOlite (zeovit media, rocks) and Biopellet, they both host nutrient reducing bacteria. But ZEOlite rock does it so well (maybe too well), it "strips" the water along with other stuff and the corals become pale. No brownness. Then you add what you want to add later with their additives in general.

Sorry Im still trying to understand how it works! I hope this helps :)

I think I get it. Don't understand how the Zeovit works better on and off but that's ok. It makes sense that they both use bacteria to lower nutrients and and you have to let the Zeovit colonize before you completely take the BP offline.
Thanks for helping me understand this a little better.
I take it you got the plumbing all squared away.
How is that reactor that you got from fish street? Working well?
