It's been a week since I went ZEOvit, I think Im having a bit of nutrients in the tank even tho either of NO3 or PO4 is not detectable with the RedSea kit, which is all expected somewhat. Ill wait another week to start reducing the biopellets gradually over the course of a few weeks.

    Heres the daily dosing
    ZEOBak 4 drops
    Sponge Power 4 drops
    ZEOStart3 0.4ml twice
and Im running the ZEOlite reactor 3 hours on/off, a check valve made it possible without exposing the zeolite media.

    Ok enough with boring stuff.
I got a new wrasse a few days ago, he hadnt come out from hiding till now!

I was told this was a Filamented Flasher wrasse, but I thought it is a Carpenter's Flasher, no? Wheres Hunter (evolved) or Chris (dowtish)?? Also, should I be worried that this guy looks a bit beat up..?

Looks like either a Carpenter's or a McCosker's...I can never tell the difference. Looks okay to me...any aggression toward him?

Hey Andy thanks! I believe McCosker's have only one pointy dorsal fin, this guy has three.

Wait for Hunter, he is the man. There are just too many for me to keep up. my vote is filamented though. definitely not mccoskers.

I think its a Carpenter's (from the lines on tail and anal fins).

Thanks Troy! You should get a few too!

    Hey Chris, thanks! (Wheres Hunter?)

    Carpenters.

    McCoskers: 1 dorsal filament
    Carpenters: 2-4 dorsal filaments

Filamented has entirely different markings and a different caudal fin.

And he looks alright to me; just needs some TLC.
