Congrats on a relatively event free move. Sorry about the wrasses though.

Depends on the unit, but I think most will take up to 80 psi.

Actually, higher inlet pressure is a good thing for TFC spiral wound membranes. The first thing an RO has to overcome is the osmotic pressure (hence reverse osmosis) that comes from the dissolved solids difference between the permeate (clean water) and concentrate (dirty water). The more clean water you push through the membrane, the higher in dissolved solids the dirty water becomes. The bigger that difference gets, the more osmotic pressure you have to overcome. So generally speaking, a higher inlet pressure will get you both higher flux rates (more clean water) and better rejection (cleaner clean water).

That's one of the reasons a booster pump pays for itself over time. It makes life easier on your DI resin because it sees cleaner water from the RO.

I have 85 PSI city water that feeds my RO/DI with no issues. 70 PSI is no problem at all.

Waterpressure FTW for sure! I feed mine at 110 PSI with a booster pump. Makes a huge difference in the longevity of the DI because the water from the RO is always just 1 TDS. Keep in mind my tap water has ranged from anywhere from 400-1200 TDS. lol Sorry to hear about the losses but overall it seems like the move went well!

Great job on the move and the quick set up. I love the way you've hung your lights! Sorry about your losses also but really given that you made such a major move, and only 2 losses, that's pretty good. I understand though that any lost fish is hard :(
