Hmmm... I havent been to my LFS for a long time, but they never had enough light over any tank to bleach any corals, but it did come from the owner's tank at his home, so I've never seen the mother colony.

Here is the comparison pics to show time elapse. As you can see, it changed color rather right away, and staying that way. Even the growth pattern seemed to have changed too.

Thank you Jerry for the compliments, I do like where its at too and getting a decent result :)

I'm getting good coral growth and have added some new stuff. However, in a deep battle of GHA/ byrosis. I think i am now on the wining side with Cheato (actully growing), and just GFO running and doing 15 gallon water changes every 2 weeks. Hopefully within in the next month i will added a new video with it all gone!!!

Keep on the pics and the growth shots and maybe a vid here and there.

Good to hear about the winning side against GHA/bryopsis. So no more BioPelltes huh?

Looking forward to your vids! :p

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I eventually found a similar Staghorn, almost the same name as well at Aquacon of all places. Looks very similar.

    Show off!!!!!

I thought the Bio-pellets were part of the problem. I have read that BP's don't remove all phosphates and some recommend running GFO also and i didn't really have the room for that. So we will see what happens.

    LOL bro!

I was told that the bacterias on BPs consume NO3 and PO4 at a certain ratio. If a system has more PO4 than NO3 for them to consume, you have PO4 leftover in the system.. This is why some people have to run BP and GFO at the same time... Keep me updated, JB!
