I got it from LFS.. it was VERY ice colored at first tho. Like this:

I googled it and got nothing so it's a personal name.

Vivid has some very similar but they are all Tortuosa and that almost looks like a tort.

Any who I really like the coloration.

 

Hmm the thing is that it was sold as a tort kind as well. As you can see, however, its more of staghorn structure to it.

Lol me to, for some reason as of I'd say the last 2 months or so I have had a serious obsession with acquiring different strains/color morphs of Montipora species

I honestly want them ALL lol, I currently only have a nice red W/ pink polyp Monti cap, However I plan on getting a nice Undata, pokerstar, superman, jedi mind trick and basically all 14 different ones that are on the Jason fix signature corals website "I was browsing last night and got aroused when I noticed he has 14-15 different types of montipora on his website and they're ALL sexy"

I wonder if it will continue to get darker with time. It looks awesome, and it's in a nice place in your tank. Do you think it may have been bleached from the lfs, or did you see the mother colony?
