Ok its been a while. Updates.

    -Started to dose Probidio BioDigest.
Packaged in ample glass container. I plan to dose one every 15 days. I started to see positive effect already. I could never get rid of cyano on certain sandbed spots. Green and red, they are all gone in a week or so. Hopefully the GHA gets taken care of.

    -Bryopsis treatment
Im sure you've heard of it. I had been manually removing it, but I added Kent Marine Tech M. They are absolutely dissipating :)

-Got the VDM to control my DIY LED fixture.

As soon as I hooked it up, Apex recognized it right away.

Side note: I ordered last Friday late night, I got it on Tue! Huge props to TB Aquatics!! Free shipping too :)

Thoughts on the VDM: Why didnt I get it sooooonneeerrr??? OMG, so nice to see the LEDs ramp up in the morning (well you cant really tell it's ramping up because its so smooth).

Tell me more about these two things. What is the first all about and how much are you dosing Tech M? did it replace your other mag? how high are you rising your mag to?

    Yo JB! :)

-Prodibio: French aquarium additive company. They have variety stuff and I wanted to diversify the good bacteria to lower the nutrients in my system. It seems to be working so far. :)

-Kent Tech M: Im in the battle against bryopsis. They never got too bad but I wanted to take care of it before its too late. I raised the Mag from 1,300ppm to 1,600+. Ive used up all the 64oz bottle. They are not coming back so far!

Interesting that the prodibio is working so well... definitely something to keep in mind.

I cant believe you didnt have a light controller. Jeeze, spend all that $$ on a fancy-dancy controller, and you hold off on the lights.... ;)

@JB, to get rid of bryopsis, you have to used Kent M-tech specifically. It's not the mag that kills the bryopsis, its something else thats in the formula, and M-tech seems to be the only mag suppliment to work. And you have to be rather aggressive in your dosing schedule, like raising mag 50-100ppm per day to 1600, and maintaining it there.

I'll look into that stuff sounds interesting, have you heard other people have good success?

I think i am going to give the Kent Mag a shot. Also think i am going to ditch the BP's and switch back to GFO. BP's clearly aren't doing it for me.

Interesting didn't know it wasn't there mag but something else. Have you tried this method?
